{"id":2887,"date":"2016-12-01T12:10:52","date_gmt":"2016-12-01T12:10:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/irmbor.co.rs\/en\/prezentacija-projekta-u-okviru-satreps-programa-izmedu-instituta-za-rudarstvo-metalurgiju-bor-akita-univerziteta-japanske-agencije-za-medunarodnu-saradnju\/"},"modified":"2017-11-17T11:50:43","modified_gmt":"2017-11-17T11:50:43","slug":"presentation-project-within-satreps-program","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/irmbor.co.rs\/en\/presentation-project-within-satreps-program\/","title":{"rendered":"Presentation of the Project within the SATREPS Program"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In Belgrade, at the Metropol Palace Hotel, on June 4, 2015, the beginning of the Project implementation entitled &#8220;Investigation of the Integration System of Analysis the Spatial Environment and Application the Advanced Technologies for Metal Recovery with the Aim of Sustainable Use of Mineral Resources&#8221; was presented to the media, professional and scientific public.<\/p>\n<p>The Project is implemented within the SATREPS program (Science and Technology Research Partnership for Sustainable Development), created as a result of cooperation between the Japanese Agency for International Cooperation (JICA) and the Japanese Science and Technology Agency (JST). The partners from Japan and the Republic of Serbia are involved in the Project implementation. The partners from Japan are the Center for Geo-Environmental Science (CGES), Akita University, International Center for Research and Education on Mineral and Energy Resources (ICREMER), Akita University, Department of Engineering and Applied Chemistry, Graduate School of Engineering and Resources Science, Akita University, Japan Space Systems (J-spacesystems) and Mitsui Mineral Development Engineering Co., Ltd. During the Project implementation, the pollutants will be first defined and possibilities of using the most advanced technologies for remediation of mining waste in Bor, and then the formation of an integrated environmental monitoring system for the Bor area has been planned.
